The Women’s Republican Club has a long and distinguished history of upholding the principles of the Republican Party and supporting strong women in leadership roles. The club was started in 1947 by strong Republican women from Mantoloking. In 1955 the Club changed its name to include the Bay Head ladies, but the club has always welcomed ladies and men from neighboring towns and counties.
From the very beginning the Club took on local, county and state issues. Members traveled to Trenton to attend legislative sessions. No matter how politically active the members were, there would always be refreshments!
